PKC's Agility Trial will be held the weekend of May 30th ~ June 1st!!

 

Packerland Agility Trial August Agility Premium  The competition is tough but everybody has a good time at this annual event.  If you've watched agility trials on Animal Planet, you've only seen a small portion of the action.  Dogs of all ages and sizes run the course for the sheer pleasure of running.  Bring your lawn chair and plan to spend an eventful day watching these athletes (both dog and human) "run for the gold".  PKC holds two agility trials - one in June and one in August.  They are normally held at the Packerland Kennel Club grounds.  Top of Page

MDA Walk-a-thon This brings many members from the kennel club out annually and raises money for a good cause.  Members take pledges, then head out to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary with their dogs for a 3 mile walk.  There are fun contests for the participants before the walk, water stops along the way for both human and dog, and refreshments at the end. PKC Open House This event not only educates the public with demonstrations and activities showcasing various dog topics but includes CGC testing, baked goods, raffles, and much more.  Also, a professional photographer is on site so come have your family picture taken with or without your animal companions for a very reasonable fee.   Check out photos from this years Open House!! Green Bay Holiday Parade PKC is proud to be invited to and participate in the Green Bay Holiday parade every year.  It's our opportunity to show off our dogs to the community at large in an unstructured setting.  Rain or shine the dogs enjoy the walk and all the extra petting they receive from the spectators.  This years parade was "Holiday Memories". B-OB Match (Check out pics from the February Fun Match!!) Held the second weekend in February, the B-OB Match is an AKC Sanctioned B-match.  It has all the makings of a real show but as the name implies, it's just for fun.  Obedience and Rally are held on Saturday and Confirmation is on Sunday.  Experienced individuals who have been training dogs in obedience or showing dogs are brought in to judge (sometimes we even have a real AKC judge!).  A nominal entry fee is paid in advance or at the door.  The B-OB Match is held at the kennel club building.  Spectators are welcome to help cheer on the dogs.  Top of Page

WBAY Pet Expo   PKC participated at the WBAY Pet Expo at Shopko Hall the weekend of March 28th, 29th and 30th!!  The dogs of PKC participate in Agility, Rally, and Obedience Demonstrations, as well as Meet the Breed booths and Pet Education Seminars.  Top of Page

AKC Sanctioned All Breed and Obedience Show Held the last weekend of April at Shopko Hall. , this is the real thing!  Several rings going with dogs from all over the country show in conformation (for their good looks), obedience and rally.  This is fun and informative for anyone who is interested in the sport of dogs or anyone interested in getting a new pet.  Vendors are on site so it's also a great place to shop for the dog with everything.  Top of Page
